The Recurrent courses are held in Wageningen, The Netherlands. The
main advantage of organising training courses in Wageningen is international
exposure. Exchange of experiences, insights and knowledge is an important
aspect of the education of the participants. Another advantage is
that Alterra-ILRI can focus course lectures and exercises on certain
aspects of a site-specific development problem to meet the needs of
the client.
Course Logistics
Alterra-ILRI's recurrent courses are fully residential, offering the participants board and lodging in the Wageningen International Conference Centre, which is located within walking distance of the city centre. Its convenient location, and the presence of many participants of other international courses, makes the Conference Centre an excellent "home from home". Residential arrangements for the participants of Alterra-ILRI's tailor-made courses are made on an ad hoc basis, according to the needs of the particular group.
